What is the Difference Between Organic Soap, Natural Soap and USDA Certified Organic Soap?

Hand-made organic soaps are a wonderful daily treat for you skin, but caveat emptor or  "Let the buyer beware" when purchasing organic soaps, as not all, in fact very few soaps that are labeled as "organic" or "natural" are actually organic. The term organic refers to Organic certification which is a rigorous professional standard that must be validated and re-issued annually. When buying soaps labeled "organic" look for the Certified Organic label to ensure that the soap that you are purchasing, Farm Fresh Organicsregardless of how attractive the bar or the package is, is truly a certified organic product. Many skin-care companies claim to sell organic products but are not officially certified. Without certification, they are actually in breach of national policy, and, technically, they are not allowed to make the organic claim. Some companies and individuals try to use the term 'natural' to infer that their soaps are organic when in fact there are no standards for what constitutes a 'natural' product.

At Farm Fresh Organics, our soaps are all Certified Organic with the official organic certification that assures you, our customer that the ingredients, the facility, and the procedures used to manufacture our soaps truly support our organic status.

You can shop for our Certified Organic soaps at our farm in Eastern Oregon or online at our online store. We currently offer 10 unique certified organic soap varieties and 3 soap collections.
